Blinky Is To Be No More

Ever since I was sixteen, I've owned a little white ford focus, zx3 hatchback. I named him Blinky, and he was my little Decepticon. He saw me through my last two years of high school, all the way through college, and carted me and my friends around from Houston to Dallas and back again. :iconajremix: even wrote him into a snippet with her OC, Freestyle for my birthday.

But as some of you know, within the last two years he's been falling apart (thanks to awesome work at Ford). Almost every day it was something new: Overheating, strange noises, randomly not starting, randomly shutting off while driving, etc. But he kept going and it was hoped he'd last at least another year so that I could get a job and make some money.

But it was not to be. Literally, the day I came home from my trip to Europe, my parents said to me:

"Something's wrong with your car. You need a new one."
"...That's awesome, I just spent the majority of my life savings on the trip."

After three days and an absurd amount of frustration, I have found my new car: [link] A silver scion tC. And holy crap this car is fun to drive, I'm going to have so many tickets from now on. XD But since I havent had much a chance to drive it a lot yet, I haven't decided on a name. All cars need a name!

...So...anyone interested in a white ford focus? XD;

Awwww....in a way, I shall be sad to see your little white car go; I've been privy to some good stories about Blinky (though most of them involved lots of hissing/spitting/exorcising) and I shall miss him. ;)

But YAY, new car! And doesn't it look preeeettty?

Looking at it, I'm not entirely sure if it's male or female; what do you think? :3

I'm sorry about Blinky, you know how Fords are though *shrug* Fix or repair daily -_- Or as my step-dad sais "Found on road dead". Maybe a suggestion in a name, the new car sounds like my cousin Zander; cool, adorable and just an all out fun little guy ^^ (his mother went all out on his full name though... Alek Zander London Reign Hood) sheesh woman!

I can't wait for my trip to Colorado from the 27th to the 12th of August ^^ Renaissance Festival! When I get back I am looking into a car for myself... though my dad is going to murder me because my taste in cars is so high ^^; (he has to co-sign since my identity theft) I'm looking into one of those new Chevy Camaros, V8 engine with leather interior *dies* I can afford one... but it would mean I would be stuck in Alaska for another good 4 years >_<

No thanks, I already have a White Camry v6, before the year 2000.
I just need to fix the squeaky breaks and the air conditioning. But overall I like it.
Your new car is looking great! Hope that the new car wouldn't have some glitches and stuff. But...:shrug: Have fun and don't let Barricade and Prowl catch you is all I can say.

Aw, the little Decepticon is being retired? Well... at least there's a sleek new Decepticon ready to take his spot! LOL you should have a contest or poll for its new name!! XD

And, while having a Decepticon of my very own sounds fascinating and all, I'm quite content with my own little Autobot X3

Nice! I really didn't care for Scions very much, though I really had never known that they made anything other than those boxes on wheels. Very cool-looking vehicle, though. As for a name...well, have you decided on a faction yet?

The car's a little dinged in some places by the previous owner (it's a four year old car). But so far, no mechanical problems have risen. **Knocks on wood**
