As the semester draws to a close, and graduation looms ever closer, all sanity that was once in the world seems to be slowly disappearing.

To be honest, there's no reason for this, at least for me. Sure I'm worried and stressed about graduation, but I am not like my classmates. i.e: wait till the very last minute to do my portfolio and thus rip out all my hair and suffer a massive heart attack. Ive been working on it all semester long at a pretty leisurely pace. So there's no reason shit in the real world would turn upside down.

Right?

In the time after spring break till now, it seems like Hell has made a grand entrance on earth. There was a freak hailstorm in Austin (which somehow missed us, since that kind of thing usually targets this little town), mass absences of professors and classes cancelled (not really a bad thing as far as Im concerned), renegade cellphone salesmen, bewildered school administrators, and finally, my car really is evil and trying to kill me.

It's one thing if your vehicle is randomly overheating and the mechanics can't find the reason. It's another if you battery randomly dies, then the mechanic says it's fine. I'm never buying a Ford again, they play mind games!

You know what Ford means: Fix Or Repair Daily.

Up here in Minnesota it's been a pain in the ass with cold winter weather coming and going then returning. ^^;

I WANT WARM SPRING WEATHER, NOT COLD WINTER!!!!

On a plus note I'm doing rather very fine, one of my fan fic chapters that is under construction now has over 11,000 words the longest I have ever written. :wow:

And I agree. All sanity is gone, it seems. Just makes no sense at all. Whatever happened to common sense?

*hugs my Chevy* some cars are just lemons.

Fix Or Repair Daily hun... remember F.O.R.D. and you will do just fine ;p

"Overseas" made cars might have a rep of "once it's broken, it can't be fixed" but they tend to "break" many years after it's bought.

I'd take the blizzard I drove through in Colorado over hail any day.

Though I am curious of the renegade cell phone salesman.

Subaru. They're the only car company that made money last year. Not Toyota, not Honda...Subaru actually had profit.

I remember that time. It went by so fast that I didn't realize it until I had moved back home. :( Now, it's a battle between 'do I work the rest of my life as a plebe' or 'do I try to get into grad school by having the GRE eat my soul'. Grad school.

Fords back in the 90's are insane. My dad has a Ford Escort from, like, '92 or something. The body is slowly coming apart, the paint is washed out and peeling in some places, the passenger side door can't open from the inside, the driver's window won't roll up unless you push it and the tape deck is utterly busted, but every year whenever he gets it checked out, the mechanics are all impressed at the great shape the engine is in.
